We are glad to introduce MIMO BAKE STUDIO, a new concept of baked goods in the Northern California . Our products are homemade, fresh, and inspired by traditional, artisan recipes maintained through generations in Brazil.

About us

MIMO, a Brazilian-inspired bakery, was founded by two moms in the San Francisco Bay Area with a shared vision: to bring the unique flavors and experience of gourmet Brazilian cuisine to life. Through a series of casual meetings and many "meant to be" moments, MIMO came into existence.

The name "MIMO" carries a special meaning in Portuguese—it represents affection, a thoughtful gesture, and a gift made with love. Coincidentally, it's also a beautiful combination of our names: MI (Mirella) and MO (Monique).

    Hi there! I’m Mirella, the heart behind Mimo Bake Studio. With a background in marketing and a love for creativity, I’m passionate about bringing gourmet Brazilian flavors to life. After years of working with brands like Walmart and Nestlé in Brazil, I decided to follow my heart and create Mimo.

    At Mimo, we’re all about crafting delicious treats with love and care. When I’m not baking, you can find me enjoying music, home decor, and spending time with my family. Mimo isn’t just a business—it’s a dream come true, and I’m so excited to share our creations with you!

  • About the "MO" of MIMO

    Hi, I’m Monique, the brain behind Mimo! I’m based in Northern California, where I’ve found a wonderful community to call home. With a background in Civil Engineering and Shopping Center Management, I’ve had the privilege of leading diverse projects across both Brazil and the U.S. Along the way, I discovered a deep love for Brazilian cuisine and the rich, diverse flavors that make it so special.

    As I realized how difficult it was to find authentic Brazilian food outside of certain communities, I felt compelled to share these unique tastes with the world. That’s how Mimo came to life— a place where you can experience the heart and soul of Brazil, crafted with love and care.
